Most of the Indian visitors here would know almost everything about Lord Krishna. For those of you who don't, here's a brief.
Sri Krishna is one of the most lovable deities of the Hindu Religion. He is regarded as the eighth incarnation (or avatar) of Lord Vishnu. God Krishna is the personification of love and ecstasy that vanishes all pain and sin. In the Mahabharata, Lord Krishna teaches the Bhagavat Gita, a 700 verse sacred scripture which is known as a practical, self-contained guide to life.
Krishna is also associated with the Raas-Leela, in which he is always surrounded by the Gopis (Young cowherd girls). His immense love for Radha is immortal and the couple is usually remembered as Radha-Krishna.
